Shopify is making efforts to improve their solution on the platform's security and fulfillment handling. To ensure continued transactional synchronization. Please make sure that you have the latest version of the OGOship app installed in your shopify platform, as well as update your current settings in both Shopify as well as myOGO, to not risk any interruptions towards your order fulfillment.
1. Update Shopify integration credentials
Open edit merchant page in myOGO and select the integrations tab.
You might need to refresh credentials from refresh button
2. Take new locations into use at myOGO
Under Shopify integration you should see “Use stock from warehouse” and all your warehouses in format “OGO xxx” (OGO SKP, OGO TLL etc.)
This means that new locations were added to Shopify also.
Deselect old locations and select new ones.
Save changes. You can start doing updates at Shopify side now.
Note: myOGO will start sync after saving so stock values will appear at new Shopify locations soon.
3. Configure Shopify to use new locations.
Go to Shopify => Settings => Locations. You will see new locations under App locations.
4. Move Shipping & delivery to new locations
Go to Settings => Shipping & delivery. Under Shipping, click Manage.
You will see new locations under ‘Not shipping from’.
Click ‘Add rates’.
Under ‘Use same rates as’ Select carefully the old location for the same warehouse you are configuring.
Click Done to set rates.
(Do the same for all locations if you are using multiple warehouses.)
5. Remove old fulfill locations
After new locations are added. You can turn off old locations.
Select Locations and click the old location. From location settings uncheck fulfill orders.
6. Move unfulfilled orders to new locations
As a final step you need to move unfulfilled orders to new locations.
Open order and ‘...’ to change location.
Note! You can also select several orders from the list and mass move those to new locations.
7. Remove inventory from old location
Now everything is ok. Old location should not be used to fulfill orders anymore.
It is best to reset the inventory level of old locations. You can also remove location if that is not the default location.
To reset inventory. Go to ‘Products’ => ‘Inventory’. Select the old location from the dropdown.
Select all products and to the bottom of screen appears button to mass update Quantities
Click Set to quantity 0 to remove inventory. You might need to sort inventory and redo this while there are any products in hand for this location.
