PrestaShop instructions

There are two ways to link PrestaShop and myOGO. You can choose by uploading a module to your online store or adding PrestaShop integration to myOGO merchant.

Both of them are equally as good but there are some differences.

By adding the integration to myOGO

  • The warehouse management system gets the needed information from PrestaShop trough API
  • The "sync webshop products" page is available
  • Not possible to add a receipt to an order from online store to myOGO

Uploading the module

  • The module pushes the needed information to myOGO
  • The "sync webshop products" page is not available
  • Adding a receipt to an order from online store to myOGO is possible

Here are instructions for installing the integration to myOGO.

Here are instructions for uploading the module.

Install the integration to myOGO merchant

Go to your online store and add a new webservice key.

Configure -> Advanced parameters -> Webservice

Remember to enable PrestaShop webservice.

On the edit page cross the view, modify and add sections. If you do not want to cross everything on the list, cross the orders, products and states at least.

If you don't already have one, create an account on myOGO.

Go to myOGO "edit merchant" page and find the integrations section.

Add PrestaShop integration.

Copy the webservice key from your online store to myOGO PrestaShop "Account" and "Password".

Add your online store URL and add "/api" to the end.

Remember to enable latest changes update.

Now you can see your products on myOGO. Go to products page and click in to "sync webshop produts" page. Here you can see your products on your online store and myOGO.

Note that if the "Ignore products missing from OGOship" is enabled, the setting will ignore all the products missing from OGOship and will not add them to the orders. The safer option is to ignore certain products, e.g. if you want to send them yourself, ignore them one-by-one on the product sync page.

Read more about product sync page.

When the integration is set up, move on to setting up shipping methods.

Upload OGOship module to PrestaShop

Go to this website https://github.com/ogoship/prestashop/releases

Download file "ogoship.zip" to your computer.

Navigate to "Modules and Services". Click "upload a module". Upload the ogoship.zip file to your online store from your computer.

Link myOGO merchant to PrestaShop

If you don't already have one, create an account on myOGO.

Edit merchant settings under the Globe icon => Edit merchant.

Copy Merchant ID and API Secret Token from myOGO Merchant page to OGOship module settings at your online store.

To send products to myOGO, click to export all products to OGOship.

If you don't want to send every product to OGOship, check the box "Do not export to OGOship" at the product shipping page.

Verify integration

Add stock value on product page to demo position for testing.

Now you can read stock value on products page. Loading can take a few minutes.

Click to update the product info from OGOship.

Go to product page to check stock value.

Setting up shipping methods

Once the integration is completed successfully shipping methods at your online store need to be linked to the shipping methods provided at myOGO.

The linking can be done by using the shipping method name or a code that has been set for the shipping method at "edit merchant" page. Enable shipping method from the list and copy the code or name to your online store.

Remember to link every shipping method individually to certain shipping methods at myOGO.

The "*" special character can be used as a wild card in the text or code. E.g.

  1. "DHL*" matches to "DHL-1" and "DHL-test"
  2. "D*L" matches to "DtestL" and "DYL"

Note!

After you have shipped physical products to OGOship and stock values are correct, then remember to enable scheduled updates.

Use cron to schedule stock update using this URL http://www.website.com/modules/ogoship/cron-ogoship.php

Use your online store URL instead of "website.com"
