his page will guide you through on how to add a WooCommerce integration to your myOGO account with a few simple steps!
Please note! Woocommerce version minimum requirement is Woocommerce 4.5.
There are two ways to integrate WooCommerce to myOGO; by installing the integration on the myOGO site or by installing the plugin in WooCommerce. To get best experience, it is needed to install plugin and the integration, so all of the features are available to use. The differences between these integrations are listed below. Key features marked in bold.

Installing the integration
First, you need to create a Consumer key and Consumer secret in WooComerce.
- Go to WooCommerce
- Then go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced
- Click on REST API
- Click Add key to create new API key
- Give the key a name, description and give the permission to read and write.
- Then click Generate API key
- Copy and save the Consumer key and Consumer secret
- Note! They can not be accessed again - Next, get your site URL from the Settings page
Next you may add the integration to myOGO
- Go to Edit Merchant → Integrations
- Click on New Integration
- Choose WooCommerce
- Fill in the Store Url, Consumer key and Consumer secret
- Save
- Select the warehouse to be used
- Adjust the settings
If the integration somehow isn't working, please check the Legacy API. This setting needs to be enabled in order for the integration to work.
Make sure that by default the following settings in Settings → General are not selected. By default the integration will work as intended without these selected.
Installing the OGOship plugin
The OGOship for WooCommerce plugin connects your store to OGOship, adds the OGOship product fields to WooCommerce, and shows shipment tracking to your customers.
Connecting takes about two minutes. You do not need to create or copy an API key yourself: WooCommerce creates one and hands it to OGOship directly when you approve the connection.
Before you start
- WooCommerce is installed and active on your store.
- Your store is served over HTTPS.
- You can sign in to WordPress as an administrator.
- You have a myOGO account with a warehouse assigned to it.
Please note! The plugin requires WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer. WooCommerce will not release API credentials over an insecure connection, so your store must use HTTPS for the automatic setup to run.
1. Install the plugin
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New and search for OGOship. Choose OGOship for WooCommerce, published by ogoship, and click Install Now.
When the installation finishes, click Activate. The plugin then appears in your plugins list with a Connect link of its own.
2. Start the connection
Click Connect in the plugins list, or go to WooCommerce → OGOship. Then click Connect to OGOship.
3. Sign in to myOGO
You are taken to OGOship to sign in with your myOGO account. If you are already signed in, this step is skipped.
4. Choose the account and warehouse
Pick the OGOship account this store belongs to and the warehouse that will ship its orders, then click Continue to WooCommerce. If you only have one account, or one warehouse, it is selected for you.
5. Approve the connection in your own store
You are returned to your WooCommerce admin, where WooCommerce asks you to approve the connection. This screen is WooCommerce's own — OGOship never sees your store password. Click Approve.
6. Check that it worked
After approving, you land back on WooCommerce → OGOship, which confirms "This store is connected to OGOship".
The confirmation appears only after OGOship has called your store for the first time. Until then the screen still shows the Connect to OGOship button, even though the connection was created successfully. This is normal and usually resolves within a few minutes — there is no need to connect again.
For more detail, open WooCommerce → Status → OGOship. That panel is read-only and shows when OGOship last contacted your store, which order most recently received tracking, and your plugin version.
What the plugin adds
- An OGOship tab on the product page for EAN code, supplier name and code, purchase price, product group, customs description, country of origin, HS code, and a "do not send to OGOship" flag. The same fields are available on individual variations — leave a variation field blank and it inherits the parent product's value.
- Shipment tracking for your customers, shown on the My Account order page, on the order confirmation page, and in your WooCommerce order emails.
- A tracking column and panel on your admin orders screens.
The plugin does not send orders to OGOship. OGOship reads orders from your store over the WooCommerce REST API, which is what the connection above sets up.
Upgrading from the older OGOship plugin
If your store still runs the older Ogoship API for WooCommerce (version 3.x), install the new plugin first, then deactivate the old one. Nothing needs to be migrated and nothing is re-entered: both plugins store your product data in exactly the same place, so it carries across untouched.
While both are active, the new plugin holds back its product fields and tracking so you do not see two copies of every field. It shows a notice on the WooCommerce → OGOship screen with a button that deactivates the old plugin for you.
Troubleshooting
The Connect button is disabled and warns about HTTPS. Your store is not served over HTTPS. WooCommerce will not release API credentials to an insecure connection, so the automatic setup cannot run. Enable HTTPS on your store, or contact OGOship support to have the store connected manually.
"This account has no warehouse assigned yet." Your OGOship account does not yet have a warehouse, so a store cannot be connected to it. Please contact OGOship support.
"Your account isn't set up yet." Onboarding is not finished for your OGOship account. Complete it, then start again from your WooCommerce store.
The connect link is missing or has expired. Start again from WooCommerce → OGOship in your store. The link can only be used once.
My customers cannot see any tracking. Open WooCommerce → Status → OGOship. If it shows no API activity, OGOship is not reaching your store — check that the API key has not been revoked under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API, and reconnect from WooCommerce → OGOship if it has. If there is activity but no tracking, the order has not shipped from the warehouse yet.
The status panel says the old OGOship plugin is still active. Deactivate Ogoship API for WooCommerce under Plugins. The new plugin's product fields and tracking stay switched off until you do.
Synchronizing products
Once the integration is set up, it's time to sync your products, go to the myOGO Products → Sync webshop products. If the products are not yet visible, click Refresh.
When the products are visible on the left side of the page, click on all, or the desired products, and select Create product. Read more about the product sync page.

Note! If you don't want to send every product to OGOship, check the box Do not export to OGOship on the product page in WooCommerce. Also, make sure that all products have the setting Manage Stock "Enable stock management at product level" - selected.
If you are selling variable products, remember also to set a different SKU for each one. Otherwise, it won't transfer to myOGO.
Setting up shipping methods
Now that you have your integration set as well with products created next you need to connect the shipping methods from your online store to myOGO.
Once you have created the shipping methods to your online store, please find the detailed guide for shipping method configuration here.
Installing the old plugin (version 3.x)
These instructions are for the previous Ogoship API for WooCommerce plugin (version 3.x) and are kept for stores that have not migrated yet. If you are setting up a new store, follow Installing the OGOship plugin above instead.
- Go to your Wordpress Market Place and search for OGOship plugin
- Install and activate it
- Next, go to your myOGO account to get your Merchant ID and Secret Token
- Go to Edit Merchant → Integrations
- Copy the merchant ID and Secret Token
- Add them to WooCommerce general settings under "OGOship Plugin General Settings"
- Save
It is highly recommended that you disable sending of orders to myOGO from plugin side. MyOGO is able to get more info from orders and support special pickup points etc.
OGOship plugin tips (not relevant when using integration)
Verify plugin
Once you have goods in stock, you may verify the plugin with stock sync in WooCommerce, by clicking "upload product info from OGOship to WooCommerce" under OGOship Plugin General Settings.

Orders not syncing?
If the orders are not transferred to myOGO check the following settings in WooCommerce. Orders can be also sent manually to myOGO. If the order is not transferred to myOGO there will be an error message on the Order notes.

A common reason for order not transferring is, that the ordered product has no SKU, or the setting on the product page Do not export to OGOship is on (see photo above). Also on the WooCommerce settings page the setting Automatically send orders to OGOship needs to be on.

Pickup / service point select plugins supported by myOGO integration:
- Budbee
- Schenker
- Posti
Note. We are able to support most of other plugins also. Just make a test order and send email to our support, and we will update integration.
