Boxy - Your AI Assistant in myOGO2
Boxy is the AI assistant built into the myOGO2 portal. You can find it as a chat panel that you can open from any page in the application.
What Can Boxy Do?
Boxy can help you with everyday logistics tasks using natural language. Instead of navigating through menus and filters, just ask Boxy what you need.
Orders & Shipping
- Search orders by email, phone number, reference, status, or product
- View order details, tracking information, and delivery history
- Check late orders and shipment dashboards
- Look up a customer's full history across orders, returns, and claims
- View and compare delivery times for similar orders
- Update delivery types on draft or pending orders

Page Context
On some pages, Boxy automatically receives context about what you're currently looking at. You'll see context text displayed below the chat input box. This means Boxy already knows which order, product, or page you're viewing - so you can ask follow-up questions directly without needing to specify what you're referring to.
Smart Service Switching
Boxy covers multiple areas of the platform (orders, products, notes, support). If you ask a question that belongs to a different area than your current one, Boxy will automatically switch to the right service and handle your request.
Filing Tech Tickets
If you encounter something that's broken or not yet implemented, you can ask Boxy to create a tech ticket. Boxy will file a support ticket in Zendesk with the full conversation history attached, so the support team has all the context they need.
Write Operations and Approvals
Some actions that modify data (like approving a return or updating a delivery type) require your confirmation before they are executed. Boxy will show you an approval card - review the details and confirm to proceed.
MCP API - Use OGOship with AI Tools
The MCP (Model Context Protocol) API lets you connect external AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT directly to your OGOship data. This gives you access to over 70 tools covering orders, products, stock, returns, claims, invoices, support tickets, and more.
What Is MCP?
MCP is an open protocol that allows AI assistants to use external tools and data sources. With the OGOship MCP API, your AI assistant can search orders, check stock levels, manage returns, and much more - all through natural conversation.

The MCP API provides tools across these areas:

Setting Up MCP
Merchant and Channel Selection
When you connect via MCP, you'll go through an OAuth login flow in your browser. During this flow, you can select which merchant and channel to work with. Alternatively, you can skip the selection and choose your merchant and channel later in the chat by asking the AI to list your available merchants.
Claude Desktop / Claude Code
Claude supports MCP through custom connectors.
- Add a new MCP connector in Claude with the OGOship MCP server URL
- On first use, Claude will open your browser for OAuth login
- Log in with your myOGO credentials and authorize the connection
- You're ready to go - Claude will remember your session within each chat
Session behavior: In Claude, your MCP session is tied to each individual chat. Starting a new chat starts a fresh session.
ChatGPT
ChatGPT MCP support requires developer mode and adding a custom app.
- Enable developer mode in ChatGPT settings
- Add a new custom MCP app with the OGOship MCP server URL
- Complete the OAuth login flow when prompted
- Start using OGOship tools in your conversation
Session behavior: In ChatGPT, the MCP session is global for your user account. Your merchant/channel selection persists across conversations.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of AI Features
- Be specific. "Show me orders from customer@example.com in the last week" works better than "show me some orders."
- Ask follow-up questions. After getting results, you can ask for more details, comparisons, or exports.
- Use Boxy for quick lookups. Instead of navigating through filters, just ask Boxy to find what you need.
- Export when needed. Ask Boxy or your MCP-connected AI to export results as Excel or CSV for further analysis.
- Report issues. If something doesn't work as expected, ask Boxy to file a tech ticket - it helps us improve.
